In an effort to try to both document the things we learn, and also share this knowledge with everybody that wants to, we have decided to launch a new blog on the Ettema lab website.
This blog will feature small snippets of code that we’ve found among the interwebs, or software which is useful for the type of things we are working on. It could also be papers we’ve found particularly interesting.
In addition to this, the blog will also feature the latest developments in the lab. For instance recent publications, or Ettema lab in the media related things.
I hope you will join in and discuss things with us.
Hello, Ettema Lab:
I will be discussing the Spang et al. (2015) paper (Nature 521:173-179) in my microbiology class at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, USA.
Very excited to have my undergraduate students discuss the evidence for an archaeon as the progenitor of eukaryotic life. Congratulations for such wonderful work!
Hi Miguel.
Thank you for the kind words, and I would love to hear your students thoughts about the subject.
